About Thinking Futures

We believe the most reliable way to predict the future is to create it.

Thinking Futures supports young people to understand themselves, discover opportunities and develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to shape their own futures.

Our work brings together education, careers guidance, personal development and real-world experiences. From navigating education and career decisions to developing self-awareness, exploring interests and trying something completely new, we create opportunities for young people to learn more about themselves and the world around them.

Through personalised guidance, structured learning, mentoring and practical experiences, we help young people discover, develop, explore and nurture their strengths, interests and aspirations.

Professional Expertise

Our careers advice and guidance is underpinned by the highest professional qualifications within the sector, including the Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development - widely recognised as the industry’s gold standard for practitioners delivering professional careers information, advice and guidance.

Our expertise extends across education, careers development, teaching and learning, mentoring and youth development. This enables us to look beyond the next decision and consider the whole young person: their strengths, experiences, interests, confidence, aspirations and the opportunities around them.

Our Origins

Thinking Futures grew from the work of Miss Sarah, which began with education, learning, mentoring and careers support for young people and families.

As that work developed, so did the vision. Thinking Futures brought together professional careers guidance with education, personal development and opportunities for young people to discover more about themselves and the world around them.

Today, that work happens in different ways: through individual online support, education and careers guidance, structured programmes, and in-person experiences including Kidz Like Us Camps and Clubs.

Different activities. Different young people. One shared purpose: helping young people develop the confidence, knowledge, skills and perspective to shape futures that work for them.
