Every Saturday brings something different.
At Kidz Like Us Saturday Club, young people get to make, investigate, design, experiment, create, cook, build and explore through hands-on activities with a purpose.
There’s no pressure to be the best, get it right or even love everything we try. It’s about having a go, discovering new interests and finding out what you’re capable of.
Along the way, we build confidence, independence, communication, teamwork and real-world skills, while introducing young people to different careers, possibilities and ways their strengths could matter in the future.

THERE'S ALWAYS SOMETHING HAPPENING AT KIDZ LIKE US!
Every Saturday, Kidz Like Us combines creative challenges, practical projects, social time, food, games and opportunities to try something new.
Some activities are just for fun. Some might introduce you to something you've never tried before. And some might uncover an interest, strength or skill you didn't even know you had.

Our Saturday Club is divided into four different spaces, each designed for a different part of your day.
Let's take a look at what Saturday Club looks like on a typical Saturday:
THE HANGOUT
Start with a Warm Welcome
A place to arrive, settle in and spend time with others.
When you arrive, you can head straight to The Hangout, our designated chill-out zone.
Grab a seat, catch up, meet someone new or explore the board games, tabletop challenges and activity stations around the space. They're there to make socialising a little easier by giving you something to do together, talk about and discover shared interests through. And if you'd rather watch for a while before joining in? That's fine too.
Freespace
Room to move, play, take on a challenge or simply choose what you'd like to do.
Wake Up Your Brain
Once everyone has arrived, we kick-start Saturday with a warm-up designed to get our brains thinking, bodies moving and creative juices flowing.
These are short, fun, guided team challenges. You might be solving a ridiculous problem, completing a mini scavenger hunt, building something against the clock, cracking a puzzle, taking on a communication challenge or competing in a quick team game.
No two Saturdays need to start the same way.
Refuel
Time to Refuel
Our café-style space for drinks, snacks, lunch, conversation and a chance to recharge.
All that thinking calls for a quick pit stop.
We'll head to Refuel, our café area, for a drink, snack and breather before the main challenge begins.
There might even be something new to discover at the Kidz Café. Trying it is always your choice: look, smell, touch, taste... or simply say “no thanks.”
Creative Lab
Enter the Creative Lab
Where ideas turn into challenges, experiments, designs and creations.
Now it's time for our main challenge.
Every Saturday brings something different.
This is where we make, build, investigate, design, experiment, cook, problem-solve and discover what happens when we're given an idea and the freedom to do something with it.
What might you get up to?
👕 Fashion & Design
Design and create your own Kidz Like Us T-shirt.
🚗 Automotive Challenge
Build, customise and race your own wind-powered car.
🔎 Crack the Cold Case
Step into the role of an investigator, using forensic entomology and other clues to solve a mystery.
🧁 Kidz Café
Follow recipes, work together, and create delicious treats.
🏫 Design Lab
Take on an architectural challenge: imagine and design an entirely new environment - this could be a city, a planet, or a world of your own creation. Develop your concept, build a hands-on model of your space, and pitch your vision to the crew.
It’s Not Just About the Activity...
Building a car is fun.
But figuring out why it won't move, changing the design, trying again, helping someone else with theirs and finally watching it race?
That's where something else is happening too.
Our activities give young people opportunities to develop:

We understand that different young people participate in different ways.
There is no pressure to perform, and you don't have to pretend to enjoy something just because everyone else does.
